Meagen Ford-Smith is a dedicated and trusted real estate professional with nearly a decade of experience serving the communities of Red River and Lamar Counties. Born and raised in Red River County, Meagen has deep family roots in the region and a lifelong connection to its people and neighborhoods.

Her passion for real estate was inspired by her grandmother, Molly Ford, a respected broker who introduced her to the industry. After earning her real estate license, Meagen spent eight successful years with Paris Real Estate, building a reputation for integrity, client-focused service, and market expertise. In search of new opportunities for growth and connection, she later joined Hygge Home and Land, where she continues to help clients find their perfect homes and properties.

Meagen’s path to real estate was anything but ordinary. A 2009 graduate of Detroit High School, she went on to study at Paris Junior College and Texarkana College, where she earned her vocational nursing license. She spent several years working in healthcare before realizing her true calling was in real estate—a profession where she could combine her love of helping people with her knowledge of the community.

Outside of her career, Meagen is devoted to her family. She married her husband, Austin Smith, in 2014, and together they are raising two daughters, Mollie and Claire, in Lamar County. Proud of their strong family roots, Meagen and her family are actively involved in the community and enjoy the values of small-town life.
